There is no legal reform on issues of sexuality or educative books with explicit content in Ecuador
Ecuadornews:
The activity has intensified in social networks in recent days. Videos, photos, even audios on alleged sex education issues that would be included in schools in the country.
In a statement, the Ministry of Education denied these rumors, especially the existence of covers of alleged books, guides and documents on sexuality, with explicit drawings of sexual practices, easy access to contraceptives and sexual diversity (as asserted by groups seeking to achieve support to organize a march next October 14, 2017).
The Ministry of Education clarified that this is not official educative material. “Under no circumstances, this material has been approved to be delivered to educational institutions. Reason why citizens are urged to avoid unnecessary speculation.” (I)
