There will be 4 holiday days on the New Year´s eve, according to presidential decree

The Ministry of Tourism recalled the proximity of the Christmas and New Year´s eve after posting that these dates will bring several free days for citizenship. The general rule was established in 2012 by decree No. 1162 of President Rafael Correa.

So at Christmas will be the first ‘bridge’. Friday December 26 will be a holiday. That day will have to recovered, however, on Saturday 20. For these festivities the holiday there will be a four days holiday, -from Thursday until Sunday-.

On the new year´s eve, holidays will be on Thursday 1, Friday 2, Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 of January. Friday will also have to be retrieved.
