This season is ideal for consuming oranges, watermelons, and tangerines, because of the abundance of these fruits and their low prices. Meanwhile, it is not advisable to buy bananas or lemons; small production has raised their costs. 

The climate has been decisive in the production of these fruits. For example, excessive rainfall in the winter favored tangerines, oranges, and watermelons because they had enough water for their growth. Producers expect that the harvest of the three fruits will triple this year, compared to 2016. (I)
