Three Guayaquil’s companies compete to produce induction cookers
Of thirteen industries aspiring to produce induction cookers promoted by the government, three are assembly plants established in Guayaquil.
Kangle, Mabe and Electrococ participate in the tender to become assemblers with ten other companies: seven from the Andean region and three foreign.
The three foreign companies are Haceb, from Colombia; Goldenage from Malta and Win Slim, from Luxembourg; and seven from the Ecuadorian Andean region: Induglob, Motsur and Fibroacero from Cuenca; Enerinteco, DME, Ecasa and Ferromédica from Quito.
All these companies submitted their bids on which are included the technical characteristics of the kitchens, and details such as the particularized power, the total number of appliance burners, the manufacturer’s warranty, the estimated retail price and distribution chains.
The list of qualified assemblers will be published in August.
