Through Decree 253 changes in Ministries were officialized
President Rafael Correa, officialized yesterday the changes that the presidential cabinet will have through the Executive Decree 253.
According to the document, it is evident that Vinicio Alvarado will assume the Ministry of Public Administration, a position he held from 2007 to June 2013.
Additionally, Omar Simon, will be the new General Secretary of the Presidency, and the Police Captain Rommy Vallejo will assume the Secretary of Intelligence.
Michel Doumet will serve as delegate of the President in front of the Directory of the National Transit Agency (ANT), and Hector Solorzano, as his representative on the Transit Commission of Ecuador (CTE).
Furthermore, Correa ratified the designation of the former candidate for Alianza PAIS to the Mayorship of Guayaquil, Viviana Bonilla, as secretary of Political Management. In total, seven new designations would be contained in the Executive Decree.
