This morning the III International Book Fair was inaugurated by the Ministry of Culture, accompanied by music, poetry and art.
From 18:00, the White Navy Band will be performing outside the Simon Bolivar Cultural Center (MAAC), where the fair is located. Later, authorities will formalize the opening of the literary encounter where there will be artistic performances.
This time the province of Manabi is the honor guest for being the birthplace of General Eloy Alfaro, whose ‘Bonfire Barbara’ is reminiscent of the centennial. For its opening, this province will celebrate with dance, theater and oratory.
This third edition of the Book Fair will be open until October 21, and will feature several free activities, such as workshops, conversation activities, storytelling for children, theater and film projection.
