Tonight the new Judges will Register
Tonight the Transitional Judicial Council (CJT for its Spanish acronym) began with the selection process and designation of 21 new magistrates for the National Court of Justice (CNJ). The possible judges will receive a monthly salary of $5,808 according to the callmade for the selection process.
According to the regulation elaborated by the CJT, the merits and knowledge tests of the applicants will have a maximum score of 100 points. The scores will be distributed between, academic titles, courses, publications, and other merits that will have a value of 30 points.
Another 30 points will consist in theoretical tests, and 30 points of practical tests that will also include psychological exams. This will show the knowledge of the candidates. The remaining 20 points will be based in their participation in a public hearing.
The candidate must fulfil these requisites to obtain a position in the National Court of Justice. The inscription period will start today at midnight until the September 4. The official CJT website: www.funcionjudicial.gob.ec will receive the applications. (AV)
