Ricardo Anton, the executive director of the National Transit Agency of Ecuador (ANT), presented his resignation last Friday. It is still unknown if his decision has been accepted, however, Anton faces a assessment of $897,610 that the entity is charging him because of the overprice in purchase of office goods.

Camilo Saman, former governor of the Guayas province and former president of Corporacion Financiera Nacional (CFN) could be replacing Anton.  (AV)
