Trial hearing for 10 of the “29 of Saraguro,” suspended for the afternoon

The trial hearing for 10 of the 29 defendants for the alleged “obstructiom of public services” was suspended for this afternoon. its resumption is planned this afternoon.
The Loja Provincial Court decided to adjourn the hearing because the presence of a Quichua translator was requested.
Lawyer Angel Cartuche indicated that the request to the Court was made “under the principle of multiculturalism … so that the accused are tried in our language.”
The so-called ’29 of Saraguro´ shall appear in court during the course of the week.
