Tungurahua’s Activity Does Not Cease
Incandescent material in form of block rose about 1 kilometer above the summit of the volcano Tungurahua, between last night and this morning.
The volcanic material shot from 1 to 1.5 miles along the flanks of the volcano. The intensity of the bellows caused the vibration of windows and land in Guadalupe, 14 km from the volcano, especially which occurred at 02:48 today.
The area of the volcano maintains cloudy and seismic activity remains at a level considered moderate to high, reports the Geophysical Institute of the National Polytechnic School website.
There have been reports of minor ash with whitish color falls at Choglontús, Cahuají, Motilones, Bilbao, San Juan, and Penipe.
