This Thursday Turkey stop providing energy to Syria, however, high officials pointed out that it was because of some network problems the neighboring country and not a political decision.
The minister of Energy of Turkey, Taner Yildiz, said that Syria decided to stop buying electricity from Turkey since last week, and that its neighbor could resume purchasing power when it can.
Critics from Turkey about the 19-month insurrection stated that it will not cut power and water to its southern neighbor, since it could worsen the humanitarian crisis that has created more than 300,000 refugees. AV
