Two children had their throats slit in the town of Muey

The parents – age 22 and 23, told the police that delincuents tried to rob their house and then murdered their children. Their version lacked logic and was contradictory, so the couple were taken to the Judicial Police to be investigated.

Rocío Rivera, a neighbor, told that she heard the mother at 5AM on the day of the murder. “She was yelling to me, saying that her children were dead, I ran to her door and I saw through the window that she was carrying her smallest between her arms”, she declared.

Other neighbors also heard noises that day, and they ran to the main entrance of the house, but they could not enter because the door was closed. Later they saw the husband going out of the house and ask for help. The police arrived short after. (I)
