Two fugitives of ‘La Roca’ are recaptured
Luis Alberto Ferrin Loor and Éder Pacífico Proaño Pazmiño, aka the big nose, are two of the 18 convicts who escaped on February 11 from the maximum security prison, called ‘La Roca’. They were recaptured last night. This was posted on the Twitter account (@ ppsesa) of the Interior Minister, José Serrano.

Ferrin and Proano Both are part of the band Los Choneros and, after their escape, the Interior Ministry offered a reward of 50 and $ 100,000. This duo was first captured in February 2012, during a raid in the village of El Carmen, Manabi. The two were sentenced for the murder of Jairo Carreño. According to the police report, Ferrin is considered one of the most violent members of the criminal gang Los Choneros.
So far the details on the recapture of these two fugitives are unknown, the only know fact is that they were detained in the area of Mount Sinai, in the north of the city, nor is there any news on the whereabouts of the other 16 convicts who left La Roca.
