Posted On 06 Nov 2012
This morning, the National Weather Service (NWS) announced the approach of a series of storms that will hit this Sunday afternoon the southeastern states of Alabama and Georgia, with strong winds “capable of causing damage, rain and hail.”
Meanwhile, the population has still not recovered from the tornado “Sandy” and continues to have trouble covering basic needs such as food, shelter and fuel.
It is expected that on its way north, the storm will hit the coasts of New Jersey and New York next Thursday, producing rainfall of between five and 10 centimeters, and strong winds from 65 to 80 mph.
