This back to school season has been characterized by an intense commercial activity, especially with regard to uniforms and shoes. Classes begin in educational establishments of the coast this May 4th.

Sectors such as La Bahía, the Cuatro Manzanas market or the vicinity of the Mercado Central (Central Market for its Spanish name) have been crowded with parents who go in search of a better quality and price. Even people from other provinces have come to Guayaquil, due to higher prices outside the main port.
