Universidad Estatal has a regulation to reorganize

The University of Guayaquil (Universidad Estatal), with the greatest student population in the country, has a new academic model, after the Higher Education Council (CES) approved the new statute of the alma mater, that will allow it to execute changes in this study center, which it is currently typecasted in category D.

The new statute replaces the previous one, that was complied for 14 years.

Within the current academic model of the University of Guayaquil, its president is still the highest authority of the institution. However, he will have four vice chancellors (before: administrative, general and academic) that will be of Research, Management of Knowledge and Graduate Studies; Academic and Vocational Training; of Internationalisation and Academic Mobility and Student Welfare.
