US Agents Involved in Prostitution Scandal in El Salvador
The United States Secret Service is currently being investigated by denounces against agents that hired prostitutes last year in El Salvador. This occurred prior to the official visit of president Barack Obama.
Kiro television station, an ally to CNN in Seattle quoted a unidentified contractor confirmed that he accompanied a group of Secret Service agents and a handful of military officials to strip club a few days before the arrival of Obama. The informer added that the agents drank excessively in the club and almost all of them paid more money to enter and area of the club “where they received sexual favours in exchange of cash.”
Two weeks after the incident in Cartagena during the VI Summit of the Americas. The U.S. government is investigating reports of unprofessional behaviour by agents in four countries.
The reports of similar events go back to 12 years. The State Department informed that the president and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton apologized when they were in Colombia. (AV)
