The president of the Ecuadorian Episcopal Conference (CEE in Spanish), Archbishop Antonio Arregui, said yesterday that every bishop and diocese have to look the way to socialize and reflect on the survey proposed by the Vatican.
“Everyone will find a way to consult with people who can provide a light, information and criteria and make a diocesan relationship. The Conference will integrate the views of the diocese and then will send it to the Synod as the 120 episcopal conferences,” said Arregui .
One way of distribution of the questionnaire and the collection of comments would be through social networks and websites of the diocese.
With this survey, the Ecuadorian Catholic Church seeks the views of several sectors on controversial issues. The Church must value people with their rights and open channels of dialogue, closeness and listening.
