The National Association of Agribusiness Producers (Fenamaíz) speaks of an explosive plant disease. And asks for the state of emergency.

“We are strongly affected by the disease caused by three viruses transmitted by insects Dalbulus maidis, Diabrotica sp, among others; in addition to the Helminthosporium sp fungus and the screwworm Diatraea sp,” says the honorary president of the guild, Cesar Herrera Santos.
