`Where is the treasure ´, an Ecuadorian movie, is filmed in the `del Oro´province

The film aims to rescue the cultural and tourist identity of the `del Oro´ province

The Ecuadorian filmmaker, Carmigniani César Garcés, directs the film `Where is the treasure,´ which began filming since last week, and whose scenes will be entirely shot in the `del Oro´province. According to Carmigniani, the film tries to rescue the cultural and tourist identity of this province, which has as main character Don Gabriel, a landowner who has three children who live abroad.

Sara Gonzales, producer of the film gives the following introduction: `Gabriel has a lot of money and realizes that money has left him lonely and because of his illness  he feels death is coming. He returns his children from abroad, but says that the inheritance is a treasure hidden somewhere.´ Gonzales concludes remarking that the heirs realize the treasure is in life and wealth of the land.

The conclusion of the filming is scheduled for May, and the premiere in June. Among the cast is Hernando Rojas, from the memorable series `The Stone Angel´, Adriana Manzo and Irina Gamayunova.
