The 23-year-old soldier has been detained for 10 months; the already detained hacker, Adrian Lamo, betrayed Manning. On March Manning’s attorney denounced that the soldier was receiving inappropriate treatments in the Quantico prison. According to the report Manning was confined 23 hour a day into cell without furniture, pillow, or sheets. The soldier was forced to sleep naked for his own safety, to ensure that he does not commit suicide by eating his underwear rubber.

The Defense Department as well as president Barack Obama denied the accusations of Philip Crowley, former spokesman from the Department of State, who spoke about the bad treatment that the Pentagon was giving to Manning. (AV)
