Posted On 15 Jul 2011
After Microsoft released Windows Vista operating system, Windows XP updates were supposed to be removed in order to discontinue the operating system, however, a large majority of users were reluctant to upgrade their computers, which prolonged the Windows XP’s life.
It has been nearly two years since the release of Windows 7, Bill Gates’s company has decided to resume XP’s elimination, and it has even set a date for it, April 8, 2014.
Microsoft wants the users and businesses that were the last ones to upgrade to start using Windows 7 soon before the release of its new version in order to get a better position among its clients.
