With 99% of the minutes scrutinized, Guillemo Lasso wins the Presidency with 52.42%

With a cut-off at 8:00 this Monday, April 12, 2021, the official results of the National Electoral Council (CNE) ratify the victory of Guillermo Lasso with 52.42% of the votes. The new President-elect of Ecuador leads, with four points of difference, his contender who reached 47.58%.
The candidate for the CREO-PSC alliance leads his contender with four points.
The candidate for the alliance between the CREO movement and the Christian Social Party (CREO-PSC) thanked his voters for the support received.
La jornada de este lunes 12 de abril inició con una publicación en sus cuentas oficiales de redes sociales en las que destacó las notas del himno nacional que cantó durante la noche del pasado domingo tras celebrar su triunfo.
De su lado, su equipo de comunicación agradeció internamente por el apoyo recibido en su área. No se conoce, hasta el cierre de esta edición, de la agenda que manejará el candidato al inicio de esta semana posterior a su triunfo.
