Workers call for celerity in the complaint of unconstitutionality for amendments draft
Posted On 24 Oct 2014
A group of workers with red flags went yesterday to the outsides of the Constitutional Court to request celerity in their complaint of unconstitutionality to the proposed amendments for the Constitution proposed by Alianza País.
“The amendments will not pass, they will encounter with the people,” shouted the workers.
José Chusin, President of the United Federation of Social Organizations (FUOS for its Spanish acronym), delivered a letter which requested a more agile process for their demand.
“The amendments are unconstitutional because they state that all the workers who are under the Labour regime, move on to the regime of public servants,” said Chusin.
