World Cup stadium with delays in its remodelling

The city of Curitiba would host several matches of the group phase of the World Cup Brazil 2014, including Honduras- Ecuador, would be excluded by. The reason being the obvious delays which has the work a few months before realized the world cup.

Curitiba officials were informed about the case by FIFA and cautioned that they should prove until February 18 that they might end Baixadas Arena stadium before the world cup.

In response, the Brazilian government said the work is done daily and guarantee the restoration of the sports arena. Aldo Rebelo, Brazilian Sports Minister said that measures to guarantee the stadium for the world cup are made.

Meanwhile, Jerome Valcke, FIFA Secretary General, said that the decision to exclude or include the city will be taken in three weeks. “Not only is not ready, but it is long delayed,” referring to the stadium.
