World cup sub 20: Ecuador Reaches the Second Round

The Ecuadorian soccer team won 3-0 yesterday before Costa Rica in the World Cup sub-20. With this result, the “Tri” knockout ranks second in group C.

The first half was dominated by Ecuadorian team. Just two minutes initiated the match Ecuador surprised his opponent with a goal from Edison Montaño. Eleven minutes later, Marlon de Jesus scores the second goal with a header, beating the costarican goalkeeper changing the score,  2 (Ecuador)-0 (Costa Rica).

In the second stage, 69 minutes Marlon Jesus again scored a goal for the Ecuadorian team, culminating in the encounter 3-0

With this result, Ecuador scores 4 points and placed itself second in the match table. Its next opponent will be France on Wednesday in Cartagena. (BG)
