Worley Parsons oversaw the KBC company products

The Best Practices Plan for the Operative Technical Personnel of the Esmeraldas Refinery was inspected by the Worley Parsons (WP) company, which approved the purchase of products currently under the observation of Petroecuador.

Tuesday, November 7, Petroecuador suspended the three contracts signed by KBC for USD 149.2 million, in view of a series of anomalies detected in the services and products delivered and the alleged violations of contractual clauses.

The contract initially signed for 48.3 million, did not mean any improvement in the practices of the technical staff of the refinery. (I)
