The youngest person in the groups has 56 years old, and the oldest has 76, altogether they have mora than 1 500 years old. We are talking about 30 people retired that entered the Santa Maria University (USM), in the study program for seniors.
During the weekends, while their grandchildren learned how to read, they did accounting, Ecuadorian law and legislation, tourism, intelligence activation, neurolinguistics and coaching homework. They attended class for two years, from 8h00 to 13h00.
Expreso Diary assisted yesterday to one of their last classes. The energy and cheer the group showed demonstrated why they chose to enter the university after their retirement. For most of them, it was a desire that was postponed by the responsibility of getting married and having children, and for others to make it their second career.
