ZEDE del Litoral will have its first technology-based company
Ecuadornews:

Within the 200 hectares the Polytechnic School of the Coast (Espol) assigned to the operation of its Special Economic Development Zone (ZEDE for its Spanish acronym), the private company Vibag will build a reagent production plant for clinical diagnosis. The infrastructure, whose investment is close to $ 10 million, will be built in an area of 3,000 square meters, which was leased by the Espol.
The president of that university Sergio Flores and the founder and manager of Vibag Víctor Apolo signed yesterday the contract for the implementation of this work. The event was attended by the Minister of Industry and Productivity (Mipro) Eva García. Apolo said that the construction of the plant has already begun with the topographical survey and soil studies. Once operational, this work will generate 50 high-level direct jobs. (I)
