Third Zombie Walk Guayaquil 2011

The social networks have helped the organizers of the zombie walk in Guayaquil, Ecuador to teach people basic makeup tips, as well as how to walk like a zombie. This event is performed annually in the month of October.

Carlos Reyes and Arturo García have organized this global event for the third time in Guayaquil. The first zombie walk they organized was in 2009, now with the help of their Twitter and Facebook accounts, the organizers have instructed people more thoroughly with makeup and acting tutorials.

The event will be this Saturday 22 at 16h00 (GMT) in the Urdesa Park, Circunvalacion Sur and Victor Emilio Estrada. The zombies will walk until the famous bar Manantial. In order to start punctual the organizers have offered to those that arrive early help with their makeup. (AV)

The organizers of the event shared with Ecuador Times the basic zombie walk rules

1- Respect the private property of other people, eat brains, but do not leave garbage behind.
2- Respect other zombies and the personal space of the living. Zombies do not fight among them.
3- Pay attention to signals of local authorities as well as the zombie leaders, they watch over the horde and their organs.
4- Zombies walk together; do not separate from the group. Walk and act like a true zombie, drag your steps and ask for brains without touching the living.
5- You are responsible of your own corpse, but remember to help another zombie if its needed.
