Ecuadorian students take exams

Last Saturday the day was fulfilled in 251 venues located throughout the country (149 in the coast, 92 in the highlands and 10 in the Amazon).

The National Examination for Higher Education (ENES) was performed also for the first time by the Ecuadorians living abroad. They could enter the higher education system Ecuadorian to perform the exam in their place of residence.

The examination for admission to higher education institutions (universities, polytechnics and technical institutes and technological), is performed for the fourth time in Ecuador after a process of trial and three national processes. It is an aptitude test, not of knowledge as it was explained by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (Senescyt).

In foreign lands, the consulates of Spain and Italy were considered as the headquarters for applicants to give the exam.
