$ 177.1 million dollars boost agriculture

In Ecuador more than 191,000 people benefit from the Great National Agricultural “Minga”, emblematic program to potentiate the country’s agriculture.
In this momentum, the articulation between the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and BanEcuador stands out, which since May has placed $ 177.1 million to boost the production of 21,266 families.
According to BanEcuador’s management indicators, the main credit placement destinations are livestock with 33% and agriculture with 20%, more than 50% of the bank’s placement.
BanEcuador will do the operation on the delivery of 1.2 billion in credits during the next four years of government, for rice, bananas, cattle, cocoa, coffee, land, forestry, corn, among others.
