‘1×1’ for radios is discussed in the Council for Regulation of Communication

Posted On 20 Jun 2016

CORDICOM-ECUADORTIMES-ECUADORNEWS

The board of the Council for Regulation of Communication (Cordicom) analyzes a reform proposal on the implementation of 1×1 for radio stations, just days before the third anniversary of the Organic Law of Communication (LOC).

Last Friday, counselors held the first debate of a bill proposed by Christian Alcazar, manager of FM World.

Cordicom president Patricio Zambrano said that the proponent suggests that compliance with the 1×1 is within the daily schedule and not within each program, as it currently happens.
