2000 people have signed up to buy induction cookers

Posted On 22 Aug 2014

cocinas-induccion-ecuadorUntil today, there have been about 2000 people in the replacement program for gas cookers with electric cookers through the website www.ecuadorcambia.com, which was enabled on August 18. This data was indicated by Alexis Valencia, Secretary of Industrial Development of the Ministry of Industries.

Valencia confirmed that since last Friday, Indurama distributes artifacts assembled in the country. In addition, the preproduction of the company Fibroacero (Ecogas) started yesterday and next week new assembly plants would add.

In La Ganga and Marcimex the new induction cookers are exhibited.

In La Ganga, located in the northern center of Quito, an induction cooker is exhibited for a price of USD 190 (VAT included) and other Indurama model also at USD 401.

Currently, in these stores customers can make the purchase in cash, by credit card or in monthly payments directly funded through the store. There is still no system to monthly deduct the value from the electricity bill.

Valencia said that the agreement model between the regime and the manufacturers of kitchens is still being refined, so that there is this option.

In other stores like Japón and Orve Hogar it was indicated that kitchens will be sold from September.
