23 victims from MH17 flight have been identified by forensics
The forensic team led by Dutch researchers at Malaysia Airlines plane shot down in July, has reported this Friday that twenty-three victims have been identified so far.
The spokesman from the Ministry of Justice of the Netherlands, Jean Fransman reported that families were already notified and that among identified listed 18 Dutch two Malaysians, one Canadian, one German and a Briton.
Dental records and fingerprints of the victims have been reunited with DNA profiles and serves for identification process which could take months.
“The moment you have an ID, although it is very difficult to tell families it’s just a part of a body even so we tell them,” promised the coroner.
The MH17 flight was shot down on July 17 in eastern Ukraine, killing all 298 people aboard.
