33 political organizations seek for formal registration with the CNE

The “Integracion del Pueblo” party seeks the endorsement of the CNE to participate in the next elections and therefore, Monday July 4, 2016 it submitted 250 thousand signatures. 174 thousand signatures are required, but these must undergo the verification of the Council.

Pedro Almeida is confident that they will meet the deadline for the submission of the signatures in July 18.

This party is one of the 33 political organizations that seek the CNE registeration.

Another party that has the same aim is Adelante, Ecuatoriano, Adelante (former Prian). Anabella Azin, wife of the leader of the organization Alvaro Noboa, confirms that they have submitted more than 500 thousand signatures.

These include parties such as the Democratic Left. Wilma Andrade recalled that so far have 130 thousand signatures have been approved. She announces they will keep submitting signatures although they have less than two weeks to meet the deadline.
