78% of disaffiliation factor focuses on 15 political groups
In almost four years, the National Electoral Council (CNE) has registered 105.181 members that wanted the disaffiliation in 242 political organizations. The official count began to run from November 12, 2012, and the cut was not until August 25, 2016.
Of that total, 78, 29% are concentrated in 15 political groups, of which, 14 have national significance, and one provincial (“Madera de Guerrero”, in Guayas). According to data from the National Electoral Council, to which El Telegrafo Diary had access, stands out, first, the “Partido Roldosista Ecuatoriano” (PRE). It should be noted that this group lost its legal status in 2014, therefore, all its members were released.
In second place is the “Alianza Pais” (AP) movement, which records 13,435 members less. And although the number is significant compared to the total of members that wanted the disaffiliation during the period, it is equivalent to just 1% of total registered adherents by that political organization.
Thirdly, the movement CREO appears. This political group has not the CNE data yet, therefore –they said- havenot commented about it, when asked by El Telegrafo Diary.
The Prian, now “Adelante Ecuatoriano Adelante”, won its approval last August. The MPD became the “Unidad Popular”. They maintain their initial numbers 10, 7 and 2, respectively.
