90 days to investigate the crime of the tourists

Montañita is unsettled. In one of its streets an altar where photographs of Marina and Maria Jose appear, the two young Argentine girls killed in this Santa Elena resort,  was built.

On the wall and on the sidewalk, tourists and neighbors placed repudiation phrases for the crime. Others, however, came to the Multicompetent Unit of Manglaralto, the Montanita neighboring commune.

In the morning, the two men arrested for this case entered this place. During the inquiry, prosecutor Juan Pablo Arevalo explained the version a day before was confessed by one of the suspects. Therefore, the prosecution considered that sufficient evidence was found to request the opening of the instruction for murder.
