A plane, in which Ecuadorians were traveling, lost track when landing in Panama

On Sunday night, September 25, 2022, a Copa Airlines plane traveling from Mexico City to Tocumen International Airport in Panama skidded off the runway upon landing. According to information provided by the company, no injuries were reported among passengers and staff.

Ecuadorian citizens were traveling on the aircraft.

At the moment the causes of the incident of the aircraft that transported 159 passengers and 7 crew members are unknown.

In this regard, in an official communication from Copa Airlines, it was reported that all the people received assistance from the airline’s staff and will be provided with the necessary information to complete their flight itineraries.

No injured people were recorded after this accident in which Ecuadorian citizens were traveling.
