A sit-in in Quito for the death of 40 girls from Guatemala
Posted On 17 Mar 2017
The afternoon of March 16, a sit-in was held outside the Guatemalan Embassy, located in the north of Quito.
The congregation came forward to demand justice for the 40 girls who died burned at a Rehabilitation Center in Guatemala on March 8, 2017.
Around flowers and candles, a group of people met at the Republica del Salvador Avenue. The reason for the call is to denounce and thus prevent the case from remaining in impunity.
“We are sisters who come together to express our indignation, but also our action, to demand justice for 43 girls who today are missing for the world,” said one of the protesters.
