Businessman and politician Alvaro Noboa leads the collection process of affiliations to register his new party Adelante Ecuatoriano Adelante. Through a video posted on his Facebook account, the presidential candidate invites citizens to register with the emerging political organization.
“If you want to end poverty in Ecuador and Ecuadorians to become one of the richest citizens in the world … join this great struggle that will be the mission of my life,” says Noboa in the video.
Political organizations need to collect 1.5% of affiliations or adhesions of the electoral register of the latest national elections, ie about 175,000 signatures.
Noboa tries to create a new party after the National Electoral Council (CNE) eliminated the Prian, his former organization.
