APG analyzes close access channel to Guayaquil Seaport

The Port Authority of Guayaquil analyzes the convenience of closing the access channel to the Port Maritime, a proposal from the firm Dubai Port World (DP World), which is negotiating with Ecuador a concession contract for the Deep Water Harbour in Posorja, according of published by daily Expreso.

“We reiterate that granting Deepwater Port of Posorja is in a negotiation process that analyzes the technical, economic-financial and legal viability between committees of the investor and the Port Authority of Guayaquil”, as declared Jorge Vera Armijos, manager Port Authority of Guayaquil, cited by Expreso.
