Arab League Proposes Safe Exit for al-Assad

Recently the Arab League proposed a ‘safe exit’ for the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. A high-ranking official of the organization made the announcement. This would be the final attempt to achieve a peaceful transition to end the Syria civil war.
The Foreign Relations Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalif al Thani, didn’t explained the plan that would allow Bashar al-Assad to leave. However al Thani did stated that there isn’t an agreement about the need for his resignation.
Al-Thani also made a calling to the Free Syrian Army to join and create a National Unity Government. Despite the request made by the Arab League the violence in Syria continues. This Monday 19 people have day according to the Local Coordination Committees. AV
