Assembly approves pre-legislative consultation for Land Law
With a protective action that attempts to stop the processing of the Land and Ancestral Territories Law, the Plenary of the Assembly concluded on Thursday January 29 the first debate of the bill and approved the realization of a pre-legislative consultation with 93 votes in favor.
The Council of Legislative Administration (CAL) will report to conduct the pre-legislative consultation process, the convening is in charge of the President of the Assembly and the process consists of three phases with organizations of first, second and third grade.
The protective action submitted by Romelio Gualán, Enrique Altamirano and Luis Andrango tries to stop the processing of the Law on Assembly and instead taking into account the project submitted as part of the Agrarian Network and Fenocin, in 2012 with nearly 40,000 signatures.
