Assembly Commission defines changes to the Armed Forces

The report for the second debate of the draft reforms to the Law of Staff of the Armed Forces is ready. The Commission of Sovereignty of the Assembly welcomed some changes that were suggested in the plenary.

The first relates to promotion. According to the bill, the general officers shall be made under executive decree and the others byresolution of the respective Commander General of the force.

The second is about the aides-de-camp for the authorities. The proposal is to be assigned exclusively to the President, who will determine their duties and the permanence in office.
