With 72 affirmative votes, the National Assembly approved a resolution that urges the Executive to withdraw “immediately” the monument of former President Nestor Kirchner of the headquarters building of UNASUR, in Quito, and to be replaced “by a figure that represents cultural identity”

The request was presented by the CREO movement. (I)
