The National Assembly of Ecuador presents its legislative agenda, which expects to discuss 36 bills. But none of the bills are born from the opposition.

This means that PAIS should vote for three proposals per month, that is, one every 10 days to complete their own agenda. “The idea is to pass many laws in the first half of this year. We care about the work, not the political campaign in this pre-election year,” told to daily Expreso lawmaker of PAIS and member of the Council on Legislative Administration (CAL) Fausto Cayambe.

These proposals, as already announced by this Journal in other editions, are mostly economic. There are two tables dedicated to them, which have seven initiatives in total. Perhaps one of the most important issues is the Reformatory Law to the Law on Prevention, Detection and Eradication of Money Laundering and Financing of Crime.
