Banco Pichincha receives $ 55 million in loans for SMEs run by women

Banco Pichincha received a new loan from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, of 55 million dollars to support small and medium enterprises owned by women in Ecuador. The Pichincha Bank seeks to expand its financing for women entrepreneurs, according to a statement.
The loan consists of $ 20 million granted by the IFC and $ 15 million by the Debt Fund for Women Entrepreneurs, which is a private investment fund managed by the IFC Asset Management Company. The remaining $ 20 million were granted by Finance in Motion, a German investment company.
