Benzodiazepine, a substance used in psychiatric drugs and whic has affects on the central nervous system, was found in the bodies of the two Argentinean young women -Marina Menegazzo and Maria Jose Coni- killed in Montañita in February.
This was revealed by a toxicology analysis that tested positive for the drug, BBCWord summed up in a note published Friday.
The media includes versions of Osiris Sanchez, a lawyer for the families of the victims. “The toxicological analysis tested positive for the drug used in psychiatric treatment. There is no longer doubt that there was a sexual motive,” he said.
“That substance mixed with alcohol is a sexual cocktail used by criminals to rape and kill, as the will of those who ingest it is controlled,” added the lawyer.
Eduardo A. and Segundo P., them main suspects, remain detained for this crime since March. According to initial versions, they hosted the young women in a humble house of Montanita because the girls “had no money.”
“Our theory that they were both drugged to be abused is confirmed and the fact that they went to the house of the accused voluntarily is confirmed,” said Sanchez (I).
