Brad Pitt presented the sleek and hard film “KILLING THEM SOFTLY” at the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday. The film was screened in competition for the coveted Palme d’Or, the top honor of the event.

“Killing Them Softly,” will premiere in September and is directed by Andrew Dominik, starring Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini and Ray Liotta.

The scenes of the film are interlaced with posters, radio, television and speeches of President Barack Obama and former President George W. Bush.

Pitt said that the film is not intended to be taken as his personal vision neither as subject of discussion at the next election season. (PLS)
